Facial Skin Treatment

DermaSweep™ Microdermabrasion

Particle-free microdermabrasion with DermaSweep is one of the latest innovations in skin rejuvenation. DermaSweep microdermabrasion uses a vacuum pump to gently lift the skin surface as the device exfoliates the dead layer of skin in a precise and controlled manner. The skin is left smoother and rejuvenated as the device stimulates blood flow and cleans the pores. The increased blood flow encourages collagen formation, firming and toning the epidermis. DermaSweep microdermabrasion can be combined with delivery of topical solutions (called DermaSweep Epi-Infusion) to treat specific dermatological conditions including acne, dehydration and hyperpigmentation.

BOTOX®

BOTOX injections can help minimize frown lines, forehead lines, crow’s feet, and even excessive levels of underarm sweating. Our Lake County BOTOX treatments can also be used for skin rejuvenation of the neck. BOTOX works by “blocking” nerve impulses and preventing nearby muscles from activating. The result is a more youthful, relaxed look. It can take a week or more for Botox to achieve final effect and results usually last 3 to 4 months. Some of the potential side effects from BOTOX treatment include bruising, swelling, and headaches, although most tend to be temporary and usually resolve quickly.

Dermal fillers (Juvederm™ and Restylane®)

Juvederm and Restylane can also help to reduce facial lines and folds (especially around the mouth and upper lip). Juvederm™ and Restylane® are naturally occurring substances within the human body and can provide volume and fullness to the skin. No anesthetic is needed for these treatments and results typically last 9 to 12 months.
